Coach – Dodda Ganesh – One of the mainstays of the Karnataka bowling line-up in the early 90’s, Dodda Ganesh started his career as a wicket-keeper before being recognised by Gundappa Vishwanath. He made his First-class debut against arch-rivals Tamil Nadu in 1994-95. Soon, international honours came up when he was called up for India’s tour of South Africa in the year 1997. In total, he represented India five times, with his last appearance coming in 1997, but it wasn’t until 2005 he stopped giving sleepless nights for the country’s batters. Having already coached Goa, he’s all set to lift the morale and skill level of this exuberant Madurai side with his energy.
