Rahil Shah, 32, is a left arm spinner who idolizes Daniel Vettori. He made his Ranji Trophy debut for Tamilnadu against Madhya pradesh, at Chennai in 2011. He Played 22 First Class, 38 List A and 35 T20s. Rahil made his Ranji Trophy debut in 2011-12 and has been representing Tamil Nadu ever since. His record in Ranji is 81 wickets in 22 matches with 7 for 34 against Mumbai being his best. He has represented TN and South Zone in both the T20 and One day formats. He was instrumental in Tamil Nadu winning the Vijay Hazare trophy and Deodhar trophy in 2017, picking 16 and 6 wickets respectively. He got picked for the Indian Board President’s XI, one day side to play against the mighty Australians in 2017.
