Rohit Damodaren led Siechem Madurai Panthers to victory over Ruby Trichy Warriors at the ICL Sankar Nagar ground in Tirunelveli on Sunday for their fourth win in the 2018 Sankar Cement-TNPL.

Panthers’ skipper spoke to the media after the match.

On their fourth consecutive win…

It feels really good. We had lost our opening match but bounced back strongly, executing our plans really well. We won two games while chasing and two while defending.

Lost control in the death overs during Trichy Warriors innings…

We dropped a catch around the 16th over but all credit to Vasanth Saravanan and Suresh Kumar for the manner they batted. We could have executed our plans better.

Did you expect to win it so convincingly…

Honestly we thought it would be touch and go, maybe be decided late in the 19th over, end up a thriller. As a team we have a right mix of experience and youth and I think as a bunch we complement each other.
